Friends For Life Animal Shelter: Studio Fifty-Fur Gala
Their Story
Friends For Life Animal Shelter is Houston’s first no-kill shelter and a trailblazer in progressive animal care. Known for pioneering effective animal behavior programs, the organization supports the community with unwavering compassion and innovation. With over 400 dedicated volunteers, Friends For Life is always ready—whether creating the country’s first cohabitated animal shelter during Hurricane Harvey or offering lifelong, fear-free training for adopters. At every turn, they’re there for animals in need.
The Challenge
Friends For Life partnered with us to plan, promote, and execute their most anticipated fundraising event of the year—their annual gala. This year’s theme, “Studio Fifty-Fur,” was a playful, stylish nod to Studio 54, bringing disco glam and animal love together for a night to remember. With ambitious fundraising goals and high expectations, the event needed to deliver—on both heart and impact.
The Result
We developed a full-scale promotional strategy, including targeted community outreach, email and social media campaigns, and strategic press engagement. Our team also led creative direction for the on-site experience, providing run-of-show guidance, audio/visual coordination, and photography oversight to ensure every detail shined.
The outcome? The event didn’t just meet expectations—it soared past them, exceeding fundraising goals by over 75%. Studio Fifty-Fur was more than a celebration—it was a powerful, joy-filled night that advanced Friends For Life’s mission and brought the community closer to the cause.
